I think that as well, like he's thinner and his reaction to the Dracula Movie.
Also what about Jace being a totally jerk in the beginning?

I don't really know why he's such a brat. Last I checked, Jace doesn't rule the world. But for some reason he thinks he does, so he can do whatever he wants.

He is a brat. But he makes the book funny.
I don't like the fact that he's obviously still in love with Clary even AFTER they know they're siblings. Gross..

I hope he ends up happy. I actually like Alec's character. I hope he doesn't die. (And I hope he falls in love with someone other than Jace, because Jace is going to be killed by 2 angry teenage girls who know that he's not the ruler of the world).
