This is undoubtedly one of the greatest books ever written. It's from George Orwell, and tells the story of Winston, a man working for the government of a place called Oceania. The world is split into three continents: Oceania, Eastasia and Eurasia. The story follows him rebelling against the totalitarian state in which he lives, and many references of modern culture such as Big Brother, Room 101 and Doublethink come from this.
I LOVE this novel, it's probably my favourite book of all time. If you do not read this ever in your lifetime then you've missed out!

It's considered one of the best novels of the 20th century. It's pretty famous. I reckon as you get older you'll either be told to read it by your teachers or you'll discover it all on your own. You won't regret it, I pwomise.

Honestly, reading it probably changed my life. I felt so sorry for the lead character.
